UNFORTUNATELY, NO MENU POSTED ON THE WEB. One person stated that there was a menu posted on the web, at another site, but that menu is a BREAKFAST MENU ONLY, and it is OUT OF DATE. TIM's, get in the current century and post your menu on the web. It is very, very, very simple to post a photograph of the menu. i.e., click - select - post! Yep, it is that simple... And, one of those great kids you have working for you can do it in five minutes... And, if you have not done it by the next time I'm there for a meal, I will ask you if I can do it for you... Geeezzzzeeee Tim. (I want to put a Smiley Face Here Let me see, how do I do that??? I can find one, so I select., and then I, um. well, uh, mmmm 😀 Yeaaaaa, See how simple that was.)
Yes and The Spar Pole barn is next door
We serve breakfast until 2pm every day.
When I was there on Friday they did not appear to be doing anything other than to-go orders. Things do change often. I would suggest calling them and seeing if they have any details on their voicemail.
My husband loves their chicken fried steak at the Orting location. I always get the chicken and waffles! Their fried chicken is amazing
Of course
Yes
They are not. Not a teriyaki place.
Yes, and it's recommended that you make a reservati9n for that many people.
Wonderful food, great service, affordable prices. Very nice and homey restaurant.
The owners and staff here are all really great even when they do miss something they fix it with a smile and really care. Absolutely home cooked meals its wonderful!!
I had a super long review n then my phone stoped but yall did a fantastic job! Taste, presentation , sanitation, Customer services the works A+ job! THANK YOU!
My husband and I just tried this restaurant because its brand new to the area and were satisfied. The big portions are DEFINITELY worth the money. Flavor pretty good. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Our waitress Tara was just awesome. We will definitely be coming back.
Our food was amazing. We are at Tim Kitchen in Orting. Everyrhing ordered was so delicious. My daughter had BLT & tomato basil soup. My grandaughter had 3 puece chicken tenders with steak season fries. I had the senior burger & mac cheese. The nac & cheese tasted like what I remember my grandmother made soooo good. Each one of us commented on how good our food tasted.
Very convenient for out of district bus drivers, within walking distance from the high school, great atmosphere, staff and food. Sadly they are lacking a star for the sad, mini, browning, half an avocado they charged $2 for on top of my omelet.
I didn't want just a small side dish of macaroni and cheese. They set me up with a double side order of macaroni and cheese ,with extra cheese baked in the oven for me. Fresh and good. Check out the menu for a large variety of home cooked meals. Breakfast is until 1100 am.
Food was decent, place was awesome. I like the cabin look
Very nice place to go for any meal. The staff make you feel welcomed.
My wife and I have been eating at Tim’s since we moved to the area 3 years ago. Always top notch service and food even when they’re busy. They are always willing to customize your order and the menu has a huge variety of amazing food. Family owned this place is a must stop for breakfast lunch or dinner! Don’t forget they do to-go orders too!
My picky eater rated this a 5 star! We went back the next day. Lots of food options and good old-fashioned breakfast.
I always have a positive experience at Tim's Kitchen. It's not a 5 star restaurant or a gourmet diner. What it is, is a small, home town restaurant that serves home cooked comfort food. Always good all the time. I always have a loaded baked potato and the salad bar. Dessert to me is a delicious biscuit. Really, their that good! The service is great too. Enjoy! 🍔🥞🌭🥓🥗🍳
Arnel is the chef ! Amazing palet. The lamb chops are unbeatable!
We don't live in Washington but when we come visit we usually go to the cafe around the corner for hobo hash. When we got to orting this time it was closed down super disappointed ams hungry we tried to find an alternative because We wanted hobo hash. So we went to Tim's wow this place is so nice with a little train driving around the restaurant. Super friendly staff and amazing food and even better hot chocolate. We had a great breakfast of hobo hash and sausage gravy thank you.
In a smaller town this place is a good find. The chicken was very tender and flavorful. Employees were helpful. This was our second visit there. Thank you for cooking for us.
Amazing breakfast! I had the breakfast pizza. The crust was crisp, the hash browns were too. Sausage, smokey ham, eggs and cheese. They used their yummy gravy as the sauce base. Hubby had chicken fried chicken, omg delicious!! Definitely will be back. Can't wait to try other dishes!
The atmosphere was pleasant, the staff friendly and attentive, food was generously portioned, they have uniform menu items that are fairly priced, and everything was well prepared. They even have a little toy train running around a track that stretches across the entire restaurant. I wouldn't have a negative thing to say if not for the only picture of a dessert on their dessert menu is of something they don't serve, which was quite disappointing because it looked incredible. Either way, I'd so go back.
Great place with good service, friendly staff and good food! Prices are fair and overall the experience was great .
Always good. Happy to done in again.
Great food loved everything I've tried. My kids love the train. Salad bar is good. Staff is friendly. It is alittle overpriced but overall one of our favorite places to go.
Breakfast was great, overall very good food and fair prices. Except for the cobbler I went their last night and paid $26 for 3 small pieces of blackberry cobbler and a scoop of ice cream.. Support your local small business!
Delicious food and great service despite it being busy. Our waiter made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. Will definitely come here again!
Fried pickles are stick form but great crisp full flavorMozzarella sticks are good captains type breading not the crumb typeThey play a comforting older musicGreat serviceExpect us to return
John Howie's Steakhouse offers an amazing dry aged angus cheese burger for $15 (happy hour pricing). Tim's Kitchen offering an average 1/2 lb cheeseburger for $14 is a bit of a hard sale. It's definitely a quantity over quality in this instance. I'm interested in a couple other items on the menu so, I may be back. Oh and good service!
BEST breakfast we’ve had in sooo long! Everything was cooked to perfection and the staff was amazing!! See you soon!!
We love this place always busy but the food is always hot and ready to eat.
Great food and fast service. Loved coming to Tim's during our stay in WA.
As usual, the service was impeccable and the food was amazing! I highly recommend the chicken fried steak however it's going to feed you for 2 meals!
Warm and inviting, a cozy place to gather, kind and friendly waitstaff and prices between $8.99 to $12.00 being the average. A fun touch is the large-scale train that runs around the top of the booths around the whole restaurant, as well as a fireplace, and there were no drafts we noticed. Even when the place was so full, we didn't have any trouble hearing each other talk. Hard to imagine the size of their pancake plates--more than I could handle, and along with the pancakes were 2 eggs and your choice of sausage or bacon. The two of us spent about $32 before tip. We'll be back again.
Very good American food. My friend loves their fried chicken, and included in their menu you will even see liver and onions. The liver is done just right, and the onions are delicious. They have an extensive menu, just in case you are not a liver lover.
We had a great wait person. Very attentive & helpful. Food was cooked wonderfully.
Good food and excellent service. Entertaining for children with a train going around the dining room up by the ceiling!
Great place! The food is delicious and homey, the staff are friendly. I don't have a bad thing to say about this place. Loved my meals here. Left feeling a bit too full but that's because I couldn't stop eating the marvelous things put in front of ne
The first time we ate here I was a little disappointed at the portion size for the price. But it was seasoned perfectly and tasted amazing so I knew I had to give them a second chance. Second time the plate was loaded down and it tasted even better! Probably one of the best plate lunch places in Broussard. A little on the higher end $ compared to other plate lunch places around but definitely worth trying out!
i was seated pretty quickly and the server came over and took my order for drinks (coffee and water). she brought them quickly and said she would be right back to take my food order (the chicken on a biscuit with sausage gravy was delicious) she was very sweet and answered all my questions. the beginning was great. my food came out quickly, although a different server brought it. after giving my server my order she never stopped by again until it was time to bring my bill. my coffee got refilled by the guy who brought my food but my water was never refilled. it's too bad because the food was delicious. the restaurant was a little busy but not so bad that the waitress couldn't stop by and check on me. overall fabulous food, ok coffee, and spotty service.
Back open for DINE IN, and serving up great food!
Nice atmosphere! They had a nice menu variety with reasonable prices. Food was very good. Wait staff was friendly and did a great job. Will definitely go back!
Food was excellent here. The chicken and waffles could both stand on their own but together they were amazing. Cinnamon roll waffles and in-house breaded chicken tenders. The kid's menu hot dog and fries was a great value with a large beef frank and a whole basket of steak fries. Dessert, apple cobbler with vanilla ice cream, was another winner. Service was good and staff were pleasant. Servers were stretched a bit thin but nothing too bad. Kids loved the train that travels around the restaurant. RecommendedThe Irish Benny and the Florentine Benny were both excellent choices as well.
Great food & great service!
A couple of my old work friends and I have breakfast there every week we can get together.they call it the “ boxcar”, 2 eggs, however you like them, hash browns, bacon or sausage 4.99. Try to beat that. And they have a great salad bar, those are hard to find now days
Great food. Great price. Friendly people. Highly recommend
I've gone twice now for take out. Both times for their fried chicken family meal. First time bone in, second time chicken strips. First time we got the mashed potatoes and gravy with mac and cheese the mac and cheese was nothing spectacular. The second time we got double mashed potatoes and gravy because we really liked the mashed potatoes the first time. Kind of pricey for a fried chicken meal when you can get one for much cheaper across the street at Safeway but at Tim's you can taste its more original/home made and the mashed potatoes taste like real potatoes and not a mix. If they're busy and you pick up a to-go it may seem a little chaotic you just have to go to the back counter there's also a back entrance which makes it more convenient.
This place for breakfast is great. The food is outstanding and the waitress that helped us was great! Try there hobo hash tastes amazing and you won't be hungry after eating, portions are big.
We were pleasantly surprised with everything as this was our first visit. My wife loved the salad bar, I raved over my fish and chips with out of this world coleslaw. The service was great and the place felt homey. The music was a fun eclectic mix of everything. Also, the baking powder biscuits were heavenly. We will be back.
One of the best small town restaurants I have been to. I have not had a bad thing here and truly love getting dinner here especially the Monte Cristo. Also some of the best fried chicken
I have been to Tim’s Kitchen once before and had great service. Tonight that was not the case. 1/31/2020 my family and I went to Tim’s around 7:30 and waited for someone to seat us. When we had someone ask how many she proceeded to clean off a table mind you she didn’t finish cleaning it and then disappeared to the back, helped customers etc. it wasn’t like they were crazy busy. Another lady came and informed us they were cleaning which no not really. So we asked for a booth that just opened up and the second lady cleaned it but seem to be struggling with her customer service. She was rolling her eyes and taking her sweet time. We had our two year old and 8 month old with us and we just wanted to sit and eat. We felt so ignored. We ended up walking out after waiting 20 mins for a table that was available just no one seemed to want to do their job. Terrible service. We love supporting local business but we have decided we will take our business somewhere else.
Oh my goodness. I haven't eaten here until tonight and holy moly!!! It was so good!!! Had it delivered and it looked like a high class dinner, perfect presentation, huge proportions, and so very tasty. I will definitely go here again especially when this stay at home order is over. Great food!!
Lots of choices, including some interesting ones, like pancakes with peanut butter bacon and maple. Neat atmosphere kind of like old timey wood saloon with vintage trains circulating near the ceiling. Food came so fast it surprised us and it was all really good- greasy spoon good. Biscuit was super delicious. Waitress was great and the one issue we had she fixed immediately. All the staff was super pleasant, we had a very enjoyable breakfast. And I would return/recommend.
This time I had the Belgian waffle with bacon and eggs with cheddar cheese and grilled onions. It was really good. The service and food is always top notch.
